25 Man MLB Style Poster Boy Fantasy Baseball
The concept of Poster Boy fantasy baseball is based on combining the fantasy and real baseball worlds. You select your poster boy from your favorite real world MLB team and are guaranteed him on your fantasy baseball roster. You may also select a poster boy not necessarily from your favorite real world MLB team and follow him throughout the year.
Launch - Feb 29, 9 am Central -- During this period returning owners join. I will consider new rules and settings. New rules and settings to be finalized Feb 29, 9 am Central.
Launch - Feb 20, 7 pm Central -- Waiver period for returning members to claim OPEN FRANCHISES. See open team waiver priority below. To put in a claim for an OPEN FRANCHISE, just go on the messenger and state your intentions to claim an open franchise. Once you have made a claim, you are bound to that claim, i.e., you can't change your mind to something else. If someone with a higher waiver priority trumps your claim, you are then able to put in another claim should you so wish.
Feb 20, 7 pm Central -- Waiver claims for OPEN teams ends. You can still switch your team after the waiver claim period by notifying the Commish before March 4, 9 am Central
Feb 20, 7pm Central to Feb 29 7 pm Central -- Supplemental waiver claim period for returning owners to claim any non-returning owner franchises.
March 4, 9am Central -- League locks for team switches, no more switches allowed after this date.
March 8, 9 pm Central -- (Friday evening before the Sunday draft) Deadline to have declared your poster boy. To declare your poster boy you simply go to the messenger and declare your posterboy. You may switch poster boys as often as you wish up until the deadline. I will use the most current one for your poster boy. All posterboys will be assigned to your team as a "keeper" at your 25th pick.

The Schedule
I will finalize the schedule soon after the league locks for team switches. I will try to work it so as many real world and fantasy world matchups occur during the same week. Will also try to make the final regular season game a "wild card" week with teams on the fringes playing each other. You will play each team once, the rest of the schedule will try to match as many real world/fantasy matchups as possible.
